Thank you for using www.UphamRealEstate.com to search for a rental!  While my website provides access to rental listings in addition to the homes for sale, my specialty and focus is helping people buy and sell homes.

 

Unfortunately, I am unable to assist you with finding and showing rental properties since am not involved with the tenant represenation segment of the real estate industry.

 

Based on my experience and inside industry knowledge of the rental market, I have three recommendations for helping you meet your goal of finding the perfect rental:

 

1. Fully utilize the proprietary real estate search tools on my website (located in the "Search Properties for Sale" section), to browse the rental listings from every broker throughout the entire Washington, DC metro area.  Unlike other real estate websites, mine provides the property address for every single active listing.  At your convenience, feel free to drive by the properties you find most interesting and explore the neighborhood.  Get a feel for how the home would work for your needs, lifestyle as well as the all important commute!  The listing agent should have their sign in the yard with a phone number where they can be reached.  The listing agent will be more than happy to assist with scheduling a showing time that is convenient for you!  If the home is right for you, they will be able to assist you with the application process. 

 

PLEASE NOTE: When you see rental listings that interest you through my website, do not use the request more info or schedule a showing buttons as I am unable to assist with showing rental properties.  Your request is not received by the listing agent or owner.  The best way to find more info about the property is to use the listing agent’s phone number from the yard sign in front of the home.  Additionally, at the bottom of every listing you receive from my website, I have provided the name of the real estate company that is listing the property for rent.  This can be found directly below the Features section of the listing and says, “Courtesy of…[real estate company’s name]”  A quick internet search of the listing company’s name will yield their direct contact information.

 

2. Use www.WashingtonPost.com to browse rental listings and contact the listing agent or owners directly.

 

3. Use www.WashingtonDC.Craigslist.org to browse rental listings and contact the owner or listing agent directly.
